3rd Annual Sacred Heart Academy

Middle School and High School Running Camp for Girls

July 8^th, 9^th, and 10^th from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (Total cost for all three days: $50)

Girls entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2002 are eligible to participate
No previous running experience necessary; we work with ALL runners

The Running Camp is hosted by Rod Sarkovics, Head Cross-Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field Coach at Sacred Heart Academy (6^th year). Mr. Sarkovics is a veteran road racer, having completed five Indianapolis Life 500 Festival Mini-Marathons and also the Buffalo Marathon. He was previously the Assistant Women’s Cross-Country and Track and Field Coach at Canisius College.

Camp Focus is on:

Good nutritional eating habits
Running stretches and form
Track relays
Teamwork
Daily trips to various running sites in WNY (transportation provided from Sacred Heart): Delaware Park, Chestnut Ridge Park, Losson Park, and Cazenovia Park
T-Shirt and Pizza Party for all campers!
