Refreshments - Post-Race style following formal presentation

This year the Medical Forum will honor 3 of our area's top Master Runners, American Record Setters all, at the same time discussing the aging process and our sport. With the marathon season approaching it will be a perfect opportunity to discuss the running and training for distance events, especially given the depth of knowledge and experience on this topic by our slate of panelists.

John Luther Staff Coach of "Team BrownStone" and coaches Todd Reeser.

Vick! Mitehell Track Coach at the University at Buffalo. Nationally ranked local runner who qualified for her first US Olympic Marathon Trials in 2000.

David Pendergast, ED. D. Professor of Physiology. UB School of Medicine Consultant to many Olympic athletes & teams.

Todd Reeser 20K National Champion with a 2:12 marathon. Presently training towards the next Olympic Games Marathon.

Fd Whitlock "Top Masters Runner in the World" title given to him by Runner's World Magazine in the over 40 age category. He is currently 69 and a frequent Buffalo area running competitor from Hamilton, Ontario.

SHAMROCK RUN & BUFFALO-ERIE-BUICK MARATHON contestants can pre-register at the forum, starting at 5:30 PM. The Buffalo News "Year 2000 RUNNERS OF THE YEAR AWARDS"will be presented by Michael Beebe early in the program.
