I am a high school xc runner who has had shin splints basically the entire cross country season. Unfortunately I ran through them and didnt really take any time off. I have now taken a week off and i can walk and run without any pain in my shin, but if i tap my shins in a certain spot there is pretty bad pain there, is there any chance i could have a stress fracture? Please give me your input as soon as possible.
okay well i just ran today 5 miles without any pain at all. so even though it didnt hurt start to finish it could be a fracture? and im going a sports doctor wednesday
